Resource from CIRAS regarding PPE sources in Iowa
CIRAS (and Iowa State University Extension) has provided a Summary of Emergency COVID-19 PPE (personal protection equipment) Sources in Iowa. Click here to read the resources list.
CIRAS has received a variety of requests from public and private organizations throughout the state requesting assistance in identifying alternate sources for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Based on these requests, we have performed an outreach effort over the last several days to identify the most likely sources of product. If you have any hospitals, long term care facilities, or other medical providers in your community that are looking for PPE, please share with them if you think it will help. They can contact the providers directly.
In addition, they have provided a Supplier Scouting form. Click here fore the Supplier Scouting form. If any organization needs assistance identifying sources of supply (for PPE or any other industrial needs related to COVID disruptions), please have them fill it out and submit it to ciras.info@iastate.edu.
