Prioritization: Our goal should not be getting as much as possible done. It should be getting the most important things done. This 90-minute interactive session challenges the notion that time management is about getting more done and looks at the critical skill of prioritization. Participants learn how to prioritize activities and tasks across all aspects of life in pursuit of the elusive work/life balance people seek. Through guided discussion and peer learning, participants reveal procrastination patterns and prioritization errors that lead to stress and burnout.
Time Management: Time is the great equalizer. No matter how energetic, how rich or poor, each of us has an equal amount of time per day. The ways we choose to spend our time is a reflection of not only our biological needs, but also our values. Amidst clamoring demands, we can vote for that which we feel is most important. We vote with our time. During this 90-minute interactive session, participants examine 22 time management strategies and engage in a peer learning community to learn best practices from others.
Self-Knowledge & Self-Awareness: Why do you do the things you do? Knowing yourself, strengths and weaknesses, is a foundation to gaining the self-mastery that leads to success in life. Using the insights of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) participants in this 90-minute interactive session explore the theory underlying personality preference and gain a better understanding of self. Through engaging group activities, participants learn to reveal areas of natural strength and identify potential blind spots.
Confidence: How confident are you? When has your confidence been shaken? What role does confidence play in success? In this 90-minute interactive session, participants are introduced to a model that shows the relationship of confidence and skills as it relates to success in all aspects of life. They are challenged to dispel the notion that high-confidence breeds success and low-confidence is a recipe for failure. Well-founded confidence is the goal, and the zone on the model, where personal and professional happiness is often found. Through guided discussion and breakouts, participants identify red flags that can inform what may have happened when they have failed or are dissatisfied, and provide tips for getting into the confidence zone.
